I am impatiently waiting for Friday as I plan an over the top girls night out to go see “Sparkle“! I loved Lonette McKee and Irene Cara in the original so my expectations are extremely high for the remake hitting theaters August 17th. The movie also marks the late Whitney Houston’s final screen performance which will bring the water works for me so waterproof mascara will be in full effect!

There is something about Ms. Tika Sumpter that I just love. She is gorgeous and her fashion sense is top notch. I don’t think I have seen her wear something that made me take a second look, in a bad way. She is fairly new to the acting scene but, she is one to keep your eyes on.
